Investing in Hospitality Assets: Trends & Opportunities in Hospitality

Discover the Kellogg Alumni Club of London – a dynamic community of innovators and collaborators with a passion for networking and building connections.

The hospitality sector can deliver long-term returns far exceeding those of other real estate assets (and no doubt it is hot to own a hotel). Most of this value is derived from operations, where experience and skill make all the difference.

The Kellogg Alumni Club of London invites you to join in for an evening of fun, colour, food, music and dancing!

Please join us for an in-person talk by Kellogg Professor Andrew Sykes!

Andrew is a Lecturer of Entrepreneurship at Kellogg and a part of Kellogg’s Sales Institute, where he teaches the award-winning course “Entrepreneurial Selling,” ranked by Inc. Magazine as one of the “Top Ten” courses in the United States. He has consulted with some of the world’s largest companies, including Google, Pinterest, Unilever, and Microsoft.

THE RESPONSIBLE PROMISE HABIT

How to be the most trustworthy leader, salesperson, or human you know! How can you build trust in record time, even in the toughest of situations?

In this talk, we’ll dive into your secret weapon for building and maintaining trust with others: the responsible promise habit.

We’ll explore:

  • The trust problem that most people don’t know they’re facing (and how to close the trust gap)

  • How to build trust in record time, even in the toughest of situations

  • How to make responsible promises (and why they are your secret weapon for building and maintaining trust with others)

As you may be aware Kellogg has an annual traditional tradition of “Bollywood Bash” (just google: ”Kellogg Bollywood Bash” and you’ll see what we mean!) every year. There were even all-digital events held during the pandemic featuring no less than Bollywood stars and Kellogg faculty).

Bollywood Bash is a great opportunity to celebrate and showcase talent, culture, and food. We’re looking forward to an inaugural version of this in London starting this year, on March 22nd, 2024, which coincides with Holi, the Indian cultural festival of colours celebrated every Spring.

Join alumni from Kellogg, and other peer schools and universities as we make new connections, feast, and dance the night away.

The evening will feature a variety of Indian / Indian-inspired finger food,  vouchers for 2 drinks (cash bar available), and Bollywood / British asian dance music from a local DJ at the prestigious National Liberal Club overlooking the Thames (closest stations / piers:  Charing Cross/Embankment) from early evening until about 11pm

Come dressed to celebrate this season of colours – your colourful best or Indian attire, and with your dancing shoes on!

We look forward to seeing you all.
